Usage Guide
Prepare
Ensure that garden furniture to be treated is clean, dry and free from dirt, debris, oil and grease.
Apply
Stir thoroughly before use. Apply 2-3 coats. Brush on evenly along the grain avoiding overlaps. Allow 2-6 hours between coats under normal weather conditions. Allow a few days before heavy use or contact with soft furnishings. Final colour will depend on wood type, previous treatment and the number of coats applied. Do not apply in temperatures below 5 degrees C, in damp conditions or if rain is likely before the product has dried.
Dry
2-6 hours. Drying times can vary depending on the nature of the surface and the weather conditions.
Clean
Do not use or store in extremes of temperature or wet conditions.
Cleaning After Final Use: Clean brushes and rollers immediately after final use to reuse them for future projects, saving you money and reducing waste.
Cleaning Steps:
- Remove Excess Stain: Scrape off leftover stain into a container for reuse.
- Wash with Warm, Soapy Water: Clean brushes and rollers with warm soapy water in a sealed container like a bucket or tub.
- Rinse Thoroughly: Rinse out all soap and stain residues into the same container.
- Dry Naturally: Let tools air-dry and store in a dry, dust-free area.
Dispose Responsibly:
Settle Solids: Let solids settle at the bottom of the container. Pour off clear water for reuse or disposal.
Disposal: Let remaining solids dry fully before disposing of them as solid waste.
Do not flush paint down the drain, including when cleaning painting tools
