Tips & Advice
-
1. Preparing the SurfacesEnsure timber used in ground contact has been pretreated or sold specifically for use as decking. Remove excessive dirt and soiling, large areas of algae, lichen, fungi or moss with a scraper or stiff brush suitable for use on grooved decking. Treat the surface with a fungicidal wash or cleaner designed for the job. For grey and weathered decking use Cuprinol Decking Restorer to bring back the natural colour. Only suitable for use on bare or previously oiled decking.
