Cuprinol Ultra Tough Wood Filler is a tough and durable formula for repairing damage caused by wet rot and for major joinery repairs. It is a fast-setting, 2-part filler suitable for exterior and interior use. It gives an extremely tough, long lasting, weather resistant repair which resists shrinkage and cracking.

For major decay and wet rot repairs, we recommend that you treat the area with Cuprinol Ultra Tough Wood Hardener prior to filling. This strengthens and reinforces rotten fibres, providing a solid base for the wood filler and giving a cost effective, long term alternative to replacing rotten joinery. Cuprinol Ultra Tough Wood Filler can be screwed, sanded or filed once dry. Available in two colours, Natural and White, it may then be painted or stained. When overpainting we recommend using White and when staining using Natural*.

Full step by step instructions are enclosed in this tin together with applicator and catalyst paste. When overpainted, stained or varnished the filled area may differ in appearance to the surrounding area, therefore we recommend filling and finishing a small test area first to ensure that the finish is acceptable.

Replace lid on catalyst tube and reseal can after use. Remove as much product as possible from application equipment before cleaning. For best results use Polycell Brush Cleaner.
