Cuprinol

Usage guide

Cuprinol Shed & Fence Preserver (P) gives deep penetrating protection and rustic colour to outdoor wood. It is specially formulated to protect against rot and decay and also contains water repellents to help resist rain penetration. Cuprinol Shed and Fence Preserver (P) is ideal for all types of sheds and fences.

Where to use

Cuprinol Shed & Fence Preserver (P) is suitable for rough sawn and smooth planed garden sheds and fences. Use pre-treated timber if timber is in ground contact.

How much is needed

For outdoor timbers not in ground contact: Dip for at least 3 minutes if practical or brush or spray 3 uniform coats. Use a minimum of 1 litre per 6 sq. metres (total). Rough sawn timber may absorb up to twice as much as planed wood.

Preparing the job

Ensure timber is dry and free from bark, dust/dirt and any surface coating including paint or varnish. Clean weathered and dirty wood and allow to dry.

Cleaning and storage

Clean equipment with white spirit. Remove as much preserver as possible from brushes before cleaning. For best results use Polycell Brush Cleaner. Do not use or store in extremes of temperature.
