Usage guide
Cuprinol Hardwood Garden Furniture Oil is a
high performance treatment for teak and other hardwood. It has a
special formulation that provides longer lasting protection than
traditional Teak Oil and works in 3 ways.
- Waxes increase the water repellency of the wood protecting it from the weather.
- Oils penetrate to replace the natural oils lost through weathering.
- The natural clear or lightly tinted colours enhance the grain pattern and appearance.
Regular application will help prevent the wood from
greying and maintain the original appearance of your garden furniture.

Cuprinol Hardwood Garden Furniture Oil is ideal for use on hardwood (e.g. teak, iroko and meranti) garden furniture such as tables and chairs.

New wood: Remove any dirt and grease from the surface using Cuprinol Garden Furniture Cleaner.
Weathered wood: Use Cuprinol Garden Furniture Restorer to bring back the natural colour of the wood. Sand wood to a smooth finish, remove dust and then treat as new wood.

New wood: Apply 2 light coats with a rag, allowing the first coat to penetrate before applying the second coat.
Weathered wood: Apply one coat of Cuprinol Hardwood Garden Furniture Oil liberally with a brush, wipe off surplus after 15 minutes and apply a second
light coat with a rag.

Allow to penetrate thoroughly in between coats and ensure that surface is thoroughly dry before use.

Reseal container after use. Clean up any spills while still wet. After use remove as much product as possible from brushes before cleaning with white spirit. For best results use Polycell Brush Cleaner. Do not use or store in
extremes of temperature. See precautions below for information on the safe disposal of application cloths.

Application cloths and soiled cleaning rags may self-ignite without warning. Dispose of safely to avoid fire risk. Lay out flat in single layers to dry or wash out well with warm soapy water before disposal.
Always read the pack instructions carefully before use.
