Greenhouse revival
If you've ever thought about growing your own fruit and vegetables then why not try to create a classic looking greenhouse to provide protection for those tender plants.
Growing your own fruit and vegetables is fun, rewarding, and a great way to beat rising food bills.
All too often sheds and garden structures become a dumping ground for unused junk that we either can't bear to part with or haven't got time to sort out.
-
Greenhouses can be great for growing heat loving plants like cucumbers and tomatoes, as well being the ideal place to nurture young and tender plants. However, they don't need to look like a big glass shed at the bottom of the garden. Try to add some natural wood or even add a splash of colour to blend in with that amazing colour of those tomatoes.
This greenhouse was a case in point but with a little time and elbow grease, we restored it to its former glory.
-
Just as repainting the walls can transform a room, so sprucing up greying wooden surrounds and shelving gave this greenhouse a new lease of life.
-
You don't need a primer with Garden Shades - sand back to a smooth, sound surface. Remove grease and grime by scrubbing with warm soapy water and then let the wood dry thoroughly.
Apply chosen Garden Shades colour - here we've used Natural Stone for a fresh feel.

Cuprinol Garden Shades now have an extensive colour palette of 23 different shades to choose from, and because Garden Shades transforms both bare and weathered wood in just a couple of hours your garden transformation is only a day away!
