Celebrate in style

A garden wonderland in pinks and creams makes the perfect entertaining spot for children’s parties, summer barbeques and warm evening celebrations.

Use Cuprinol Garden Shades to create this vintage inspired look by sprucing up an eclectic mix of miss-matched chairs and a charming old table, then accessorise with pretty birdcages and wooden bunting for a subtle, quintessential English look.

  • We've updated this old table by treating with Cuprinol Garden Shades in Pale Jasmine and then, when dry, we used a decorative roller to apply a delicate floral border of Cuprinol Garden Shades in Rich Berry around the edge.

  • To get the pretty pastel hues for the chairs try mixing tester pots of Rich Berry, Willow or Barleywood into larger pots of Pale Jasmine.

Mix the colours thoroughly until you achieve the desired shade and then simply brush onto the cleaned and sanded chairs.

  • When the party's in full swing you might want a restful place just big enough for two, like this romantic arbour.

To make it extra special, string up some soft voile curtains, and plant up seasonal flower boxes to coordinate with the pretty pastel colour palette.

  • Bring the look together by using up your leftover Garden Shades to paint accessories to match your table and chairs. We’ve decorated some old candlesticks and vintage birdcages and have even made some wooden bunting out of plywood.

Why not see what you can find around the house to complete your look?
